Folkestone Town Council’s Four Year Plan 2025-29 provides an overview of the Town Council’s plans to improve the quality of life for all residents, businesses and visitors to Folkestone, as well as developing and underpinning its identity.
At the most local tier of local government, the Town Council felt it was important to hear the views of residents to help make Folkestone a better place to live, work and visit. Therefore, during 2024, residents were asked to complete a survey as part of a review of the priorities for the Town Council to deliver on over the next four years.

Folkestone Town Council is closed from 24th December for the holidays and will reopen on Monday 5th January, with the Town Hall reopening on Tuesday 6th January with the usual opening times of 10am – 4pm. Please note that Folkestone Museum will reopen on Saturday 3rd January.
