I was born in London in 1965 and my career started in the Civil Service followed by employment in recruitment, import /export and training.
I took an Open University Honours Degree in Environmental Science whilst working as a Project Manager (fully qualified) for London Underground and progressed through to delivering the Olympics London 2012, for which I received a gold medal.
I have experience in personnel, construction, training, equality and sales amongst other areas and I am currently working as a Senior Project Manager on the Railways. I am also a small business owner and work closely with the Arts, Musicians and Artists.
I moved to Folkestone with my partner in 2009 and was elected to the Town Council just under four years ago. I am a proud stepmother to three and grandmother to two little ones as well as four rescue cats.
