An annual service takes place for Remembrance Sunday, the anniversary of when hostilities in the First World War ended at 11:00 hours in 1918.
A Service is held at the War Memorial at the top of the Road of Remembrance, a procession is held from the Leas Cliff Hall to the Memorial and then after the Service, the procession then heads down Sandgate Road to the Town Hall.
