The service will be followed by a prayer at the graveside of Samuel Plimsoll, and refreshments served in the Church. In attendance will be the Folkestone Town Mayor, civic dignitaries, Councillors, Standard Bearers, descendants of Samuel Plimsoll and members of the public are welcome to attend

Folkestone Town Council is closed from 24th December for the holidays and will reopen on Monday 5th January, with the Town Hall reopening on Tuesday 6th January with the usual opening times of 10am – 4pm. Please note that Folkestone Museum will reopen on Saturday 3rd January.
