29th June 10:30am The Parish Church of St Mary and St Eanswythe. Although the Town Mayor is now elected in the comfort of the Council Chamber, it is from the Churchyard Cross that the Town Mayor is to be named and prayers said for the person honoured and elected by the Charter Trustees, for the Charter Trustees themselves and for the Town of Folkestone.

Folkestone Town Council is closed from 24th December for the holidays and will reopen on Monday 5th January, with the Town Hall reopening on Tuesday 6th January with the usual opening times of 10am – 4pm. Please note that Folkestone Museum will reopen on Saturday 3rd January.
