Grants to Support Folkestone Projects

Grants to Support Folkestone Projects

The abundance of clubs, groups and festivals happening in Folkestone make the Town a unique place to live. Throughout the year the Town Council runs a community grants scheme to support these varied groups and organisations. The scheme provides start up help and financial assistance to purchase things from books to costumes.

This year there is £34,200 in Town Grants available and Ward Councillors each have a grant fund for initiatives in their ward. The Grants are awarded at the discretion of the Council that meet at various times throughout the year.

If you feel your organisation qualifies for a grant of up to £2,500 you can apply by filling in a grant application form, available to download from Folkestone-tc.gov.uk or contact your local Ward Councillor. Applications are accepted from organisations within the Folkestone Town area, or any part of it, or can show a benefit to all or some of its residents. These include; clubs and societies, voluntary bodies and associations, non-profit making organisations, charitable bodies

The cut off dates for the Town Council Grant applications 2025-26 are:

– 17 August 2025 (meeting date 4th September 2025)

– 18 January 2026 (meeting date 5th February 2026)
