Folkestone Town Council’s Grant Schemes
Folkestone Town Council has two types of grant schemes aimed at helping to support local organisations and projects that are of benefit to the residents of Folkestone.
Please read the guidelines below to ensure you apply for the right grant for your organisation.
Folkestone Town Council Ward Councillors, each have a grant fund for initiatives in their Ward.
To apply, you need to complete the Council’s Ward Grant application form below and email it to the appropriate Ward Councillor(s).

Your Ward Councillor(s) will review your application and will be in contact with you directly to inform you of the outcome of your application.
Who can apply:
Applicants that are within the Folkestone Town area, or any part of it, or can show a benefit to all or some of its residents. These include:
Folkestone Town Council Town Grants Scheme* aims to help promote a vibrant and active local community. The Council recognises and supports the valuable contribution made by many voluntary groups and organisations in the fields of arts, sport, culture, social care, services for children and young adults, services for the elderly and people with disabilities, and many others who contribute to the wellbeing of the local community.
To apply you will need to complete the appropriate grants application form below, applications will be accepted by email only.

17th August 2025 & 18th January 2026
