Visitor Information Service at the Town Hall

Folkestone Town Council’s Visitor Information Service is open for face to face, email, telephone and social media enquiries Tuesday to Saturday, 10.00am-4.00pm.

Our dedicated Visitor Services Team, or any member of staff, will be happy to provide helpful tourism advice and/or printed material that we stock and distribute on behalf of local attractions, accommodation providers, event organisers and venues, highlighting what this lovely area of South East England has on offer. 

Services include:

  • A selection of free maps, guides, magazines and leaflets for the local area & region.
  • Information and advice about local attractions, including walks, activities and events.
  • Information and advice about local public transport, including maps, times, and prices.
  • Advice and information about local accommodation for your stay.
  • Information for Beach and Coastal Park users, and Dog walkers, e.g. about weather and tide times.
  • A gift shop at the Town Hall where you can purchase gifts and keepsakes along with a range of heritage, tourism, and seasonally inspired gifts including stationery, homeware, soft toys, confectionery, craft items and games.
  • Folkestone Museum is also located within the Town Hall.
