Environmental Project Funding 2026

Apply for up to £6,000 to support your environmental work!

Kent Community Foundation supports organisations to make a positive difference in their communities across Kent and Medway.

They are inviting environmental groups to apply for grants of up to £6,000 to deliver projects that protect, enhance and celebrate the natural environment.

Previous grants have supported a wide range of projects, including:

Maintaining and developing community gardens

Recycling and reduction of waste

Citizen science and nature monitoring

Environmental education and awareness

Community allotments (Amity Allotment Fund)

And other initiatives that unite people to care for their local environment.

Folkestone Town Council is closed from 24th December for the holidays and will reopen on Monday 5th January, with the Town Hall reopening on Tuesday 6th January with the usual opening times of 10am – 4pm.  Please note that Folkestone Museum will reopen on Saturday 3rd January.
