Financial Information
Each year the Town Council prepares financial documents and reports on income and expenditure which forms the basis of our precept.
All council funds are public funds and all amounts spent or received are carefully accounted for. Systems are in place for maintaining and recording all transactions and payments are approved by the Council under the terms of the Council’s Financial Regulations. The Council’s Financial Year is April 01 to March 31 – financial planning each year commences mid-way through that period.

Folkestone Town Council is closed from 24th December for the holidays and will reopen on Monday 5th January, with the Town Hall reopening on Tuesday 6th January with the usual opening times of 10am – 4pm. Please note that Folkestone Museum will reopen on Saturday 3rd January.
