Folkestone Town Council are pleased to support the work of
the Folkestone Rainbow Centre who support the local community with various projects including the Food Bank.
If you are able to contribute to the Rainbow Centre Food Bank, either occasionally or regularly, a little or a lot, you will be making a direct difference to those in real need in our community.
You can drop your donations into the following locations during their opening hours and they will be collected from there by the Rainbow Trust team.
Halifax Building Society, Nationwide Building Society, Asda, Sainsburys Park Farm, Tesco Express - Bouverie Road, Foord Road, Dover Road.
Please ensure all food is well within date and unopened as they are not allowed to distribute out of date food.
Food needed includes:
Breakfast Cereals, Soup, Pasta, Pasta Sauce, Rice, Tinned Beans, Tinned Meat, Tinned Vegetables, Tinned Fruit, Tinned Custard, Instant Mash, Biscuits, Snacks, Longlife Milk, Longlife Juice, Tea & Coffee
There is also a Community Fridge, located at the Wood Avenue Library, that is open to everyone to use, this is not an emergency food supply but stocks a range of fridge and pantry items and aims to reduce food waste.
