An overnight closure of part of Shorncliffe Road, Folkestone is currently planned for Friday 26 March 2021 from 7.00 pm through until approximately 5.00am.
SHORNCLIFFE ROAD will be closed at and including the junction with junction with Audley Road, to the actual extent shown on site.
The alternative route for all through traffic is via Risborough Way, B2063 Risborough Lane, Military Road, A259 Sandgate High Street, Sandgate Hill, Sandgate Road, Earls Avenue and B2064 Shorncliffe Road, and vice versa.
AUDLEY ROAD will be closed at the junction with Shorncliffe Road, with access to the remainder of the road continuing from Coolinge Lane.
The closure is to enable Kent County Council to carry out high-friction resurfacing works at the junction to improve road safety.
The works have been timed to be carried out overnight, to reduce their impact
